Please visit www.hbvmeeting.org for detailed registration and program information. In addition to the main program, two supplemental meetings will be held on September 22, 2022. ICE-HBV will host the ICE-HBV symposium. The Hepatitis B Foundation in partnership with ICE-HBV will host a Community Forum to share the latest advances in HBV research with the general public. There is no cost to attend the Community Forum.

Attendees of the 2022 International HBV Meeting will have the option to attend the meeting onsite in Paris, or virtually using the OnAIR online platform.  If you would like to attend the meeting virtually, please select one of the Virtual Registration options below. *Registration fees are in USD.

 

 

Early Career Scientist

An Early-Career scientist is a scientist/researcher with 5-6 years post-doctorate experience or less, who does not work independently and is not the "Principal Investigator" on grants.

HBF and ICE-HBV Community Forum

In addition to the International HBV Meeting, a community forum on hepatitis B will be held to share the latest advances in HBV research. The purpose of the Forum is to facilitate engagement between attendees at the International HBV Meeting, public health workers and the broader hepatitis B affected community, promoting communication between these groups to identify the best approaches to fast track HBV cure and eliminate stigma and discrimination. This meeting is open to the public and there is no cost to attend.

The International Coalition to Eliminate HBV (ICE-HBV) is inviting you to its annual symposium in conjunction with the International HBV Meeting. The theme for  2022 is HBV Cure: Promise and challenges of immunotherapies. It aims to be an in-depth conversation about the mechanisms, challenges, and promises of the major forms of immunotherapy (cytokine, blockade antibodies, therapeutic vaccines, etc.) under consideration for HBV. The symposium will be held on September 22, 2022 from 10:00am to 1:00pm. This hybrid interactive event is aimed at scientists, clinicians and industry representatives.  

Program information forthcoming.

For more information please contact info@ice-hbv.org. In-person participation costs $30 USD and includes a coffee break. Virtual attendance is free of charge.

Please join us for a dinner cruise on the river Seine on Wednesday, September 21. Boarding will begin at 7:30pm. The cruise will be 2.5 hours from 8:30 pm - 11:00pm. Awards will be given for the Best Oral, and Best Poster presentations. You won't want to miss it!

Payment by credit card is due at the time of booking. Payment by wire transfer or check is due within 10 days of registration. We have closed our accommodation portal if you would like to modify or cancel your reservation, please contact info@hbvmeeting.org. All cancellations received prior to Thursday, September 1, 2022, 11:59 EDT, will be refunded less 25% administrative charge. After this date, no refunds will be possible.

Insurance, release and waiver of liability
It is recommended that participants obtain adequate coverage for travel, health and accident insurance before they depart from their countries. The HBV Meeting cannot accept responsibility for personal injuries, or loss of, or damage to, private property belonging to Meeting participants and accompanying persons. The HBV Meeting and associated companies and vendors are not responsible for either the partial or total non-execution of the contract in the event of an accident, natural disaster (either threatened or actual), in war, curtailment or interruption of transportation facilities, threats or acts of terrorism, government travel or terrorism advisory. Strikes, lock out, civil disturbance, the issue of a Travel Warning by the World Health Organization or any other cause beyond the parties’ control which prevents the venue from accommodating the clients of the HBV Meeting for the event, or if for the same reasons the event is canceled by the Meeting Organizers. In the event of a meeting postponement, all delegate registration fees will be applied to the rescheduled meeting. If the delegate is unable to attend the rescheduled meeting, the delegate may request a refund of their registration fees. Exhibitor fees will be repaid at the Organizer’s discretion, but shall be under no obligation to repay the whole or part of such fees and shall be under no liability to the exhibitor in respect for any actions, claims, losses (including consequential losses), costs or expenses whatsoever which may be brought against or suffered or incurred by the delegate or exhibitor, as the result of the happening of any such event. It is understood and agreed that the International HBV Meeting shall not be liable whether in contract, in tort, under any warranty, in negligence or otherwise for any kind of claim for loss, damage or expense of any kind arising out of or resulting from the use of any information, materials, products or anything else presented at this conference, and under no circumstances shall the International HBV Meeting be liable for special, indirect or consequential damages, including possible exposure to illness (including but not limited to COVID-19). Conference attendees knowingly and freely assume all risks related to health when participating in person at this conference. the International HBV Meeting and/or its agents have the right to alter or cancel the conference or any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating directly or indirectly to the conference without prior notice for any reason beyond their control. The conference and/or its agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expenditure or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration or cancellation.

Payment

IMPORTANT

 

Final Payment is required by September 1, 2022 to be included as a meeting participant. Payment for virtual registration after September 1, 2022 is due at the time of registration. 


Cancellations MUST be received in writing (or email) before September 1, 2022 for a complete refund minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations received after September 1, 2022 cannot be refunded, nor can there be any refund for late arrivals or early departures.
